I haven’t posted about my story in a few weeks, I’m not slacking on it. I’ve just been busy with my NaNoWriMo project.

The project I’m working on for NaNoWriMo has absolutely nothing to do with anything else I’m working on. It’s completely different and is a lot of fun right now. I am enjoying writing it.

To let you fine folks in on the big secret of this WIP…here’s what it’s about:

When 16-year-old Anne Crowley’s sister is kidnapped by pirates she decides to go out and save her. She sets out into a world that is foreign to her and the pampered life she lived.

Leaving behind gowns and lace for duck pants and a ship, she posses as a boy and joins Captain John Henry’s merchant crew. Only Captain Henry and his crew harbor a dark secret. As Anne discovers that they are not who they say they are she realizes she may have bitten off more than she can chew, and her sister may not be the only one who needs rescued.
