I’ve finished my first historical fiction novel.
It was my first attempt at that sort of writing, and I liked it!

Friday there was a frenzy on #pitmad ( hosted by Brenda Drake) of authors pitching their novels in 140 characters. That’s right… summing up your entire novel in 140 characters.

I got TWO requests for queries and sample pages.

I then got one request for a Full!!! This is a first for me. I’m so excited that as soon as I get home I’m obsessing over every word till tomorrow. I’m not going to sleep. I’m going to read. And read again. Then maybe one more time.

Six weeks till I find out if they want to publish!
