This kind of goes along with the last posting about polishing your manuscript.

I’ve been polishing this bad boy for a month. A MONTH.

It’s not done.

I was so sure that my manuscript was 100% complete. I was. Then I sent it out to more beta’s and guess what, it’s not. Nope.

I keep reading through and finding things, beta’s keep pointing out other things.

Which is why I can not stress enough how important it is to POLISH THAT MANUSCRIPT! I know, I’m beating a dead horse, but honestly folks, do you want to be known for littering the literary world with shit? Do you want a published book that is rampant with typos, grammatical errors and plot holes? I know I don’t.

I want something that people will love. I want something that a person will pick up and NOT be able to put down. I can’t tell you how many books I’ve downloaded to my Kindle that I couldn’t even get past the first chapter. Either from run on sentences, horrible story line or I’m left confused as all hell.

That’s not what you want remembered for.

That’s not what I want remembered for. So, I’m going to go through and correct my errors. I’m still aiming for an August 2012 pub date, I have a few more weeks and the manuscript is finished. It just needs a few touch ups. It needs one more spit shine.

So bare with me as I take my rag and rub out the badness of The Last Grimm: Reds Hood.
